The NBA Playoffs are finally here, and that means the stakes are suddenly higher for a few former Arizona Basketball stars.

It has been an exciting year of NBA action so far for a few former Arizona Basketball stars, but once again, we have reached that point where the real NBA action is just heating up with the beginning of the NBA Playoffs.

Starting tonight is the first round of the NBA Playoffs, with all 16 teams still hoping to be the ones hoisting the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy at the end of it.

Now, for those that love following our former Wildcats beyond their Arizona Basketball careers, here is a list of who you can watch in the NBA Playoffs.

Deandre Ayton

Team: Phoenix Suns

Fresh off a finals run last year, Deandre Ayton and the Phoenix Suns are the early favorites to win the NBA title this year.

The Suns have the best record in the NBA, they are the No. 1 seed in the loaded Western Conference, and with the trio of Ayton along with NBA stars Devin Booker and Chris Paul, the Suns are a real shot at winning it all.

• Game 7*: New Orleans vs. Phoenix | Saturday, April 30 | TBD | TNT

Andre Iguodala

Team: Golden State Warriors

A savvy, 18-year NBA veteran, Iggy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the NBA Playoffs. He is back in the playoffs again with a healthier Golden State group that looks to make some noise led by Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

These Warriors may not have the firepower of the Golden State teams from 4-5 years ago; however, they are the No. 3 seed in the West for a reason and will look to make a run, starting against No. 6 seeded Denver.

Game Schedule:

• Game 1: Denver vs. Golden State | Saturday, April 16 | 8:30 ET | ABC
• Game 2: Denver vs. Golden State | Monday, April 18 | 10 ET | TNT
• Game 3: Golden State vs. Denver | Thursday, April 21 | 10 ET | TNT
• Game 4: Golden State vs. Denver | Sunday, April 24 | 3:30 ET | ABC

• Game 6*: Golden State vs. Denver | Friday, April 29 | TBD | TBD
• Game 7*: Denver vs. Golden State | Sunday, May 1 | TBD | TBD

Josh Green

Team: Dallas Mavericks

A key reserve for the Dallas Mavericks, Josh is poised to make an even bigger impact in the NBA Playoffs this year for his team.

The Mavericks are the No. 4 seed in the West and should have a tough challenge as they open the NBA playoff action against No. 5 seed Utah Jazz. Even more challenging, is that young NBA phenom Luka Dončić will be out a bit battling injuries.

Game Schedule:

• Game 1: Utah vs. Dallas | Saturday, April 16 | 1 ET | ESPN
• Game 2: Utah vs. Dallas | Monday, April 18 | 8:30 ET | NBA TV
• Game 3: Dallas vs. Utah | Thursday, April 21 | 9 ET | NBA TV

• Game 7*: Utah vs. Dallas | Saturday, April 30 | TBD | TNT

Aaron Gordon

Team: Denver Nuggets

Denver is back in the playoffs and this year they are the No. 6 seed. Despite not having a healthy Jamal Murray, this is still a talented group that should be a tough out for any team in the playoffs.

Led behind the play of NBA superstar Nikola Jokić, Gordon pairs well with Jokić and the Nuggets and together they have created a formidable group.

Their challenge is that they face an experienced Golden State team to open the NBA Playoffs.

Game Schedule:

• Game 1: Denver vs. Golden State | Saturday, April 16 | 8:30 ET | ABC
• Game 2: Denver vs. Golden State | Monday, April 18 | 10 ET | TNT
• Game 3: Golden State vs. Denver | Thursday, April 21 | 10 ET | TNT
• Game 4: Golden State vs. Denver | Sunday, April 24 | 3:30 ET | ABC
• Game 5*: Denver vs. Golden State | Wednesday, April 27 | TBD | TBD
• Game 6*: Golden State vs. Denver | Friday, April 29 | TBD | TBD
• Game 7*: Denver vs. Golden State | Sunday, May 1 | TBD | TBD

Zeke Nnaji

Team: Denver Nuggets

A player that is seeing a larger and larger role is Zeke. This season, he has become a key reserve for the Nuggets, and as he teams up with Jokić and former Wildcat Gordon, this is a group that will be a tough out for in the playoffs.

Again, their challenge is that they face an experienced Golden State team to open the NBA Playoffs.

Game Schedule:

• Game 1: Denver vs. Golden State | Saturday, April 16 | 8:30 ET | ABC
• Game 2: Denver vs. Golden State | Monday, April 18 | 10 ET | TNT
• Game 3: Golden State vs. Denver | Thursday, April 21 | 10 ET | TNT
• Game 4: Golden State vs. Denver | Sunday, April 24 | 3:30 ET | ABC
• Game 5*: Denver vs. Golden State | Wednesday, April 27 | TBD | TBD
• Game 6*: Golden State vs. Denver | Friday, April 29 | TBD | TBD
• Game 7*: Denver vs. Golden State | Sunday, May 1 | TBD | TBD
