Fresh off their series win against ASU and a mid-week win against NMSU, Arizona Baseball (29-13, 13-8) returns to action to take on Nevada (21-17, 13-8).

Arizona Baseball seems to finally be back on track after coming away with an important series win against ASU last weekend, and again on Tuesday when they defeated New Mexico State. However, the Wildcats will have a bit of a challenge they square off against Nevada for a four-game series.

Coming in, the Wildcats face a talented, but inconsistent Wolf Pack squad that has already beaten teams like San Diego State and Grand Canyon among others. And the Wildcats enter Thursday evening’s matchup riding a current, two-game winning streak, meanwhile, Nevada looks to rebound following their series loss to San Jose State.

Arizona is one of the better offensive teams in the country and against ASU and New Mexico State, the bats came back in a big way, plating 41 runs in four games. Against Nevada, Arizona will have to be ready if they are going to come away with the series win.

However, the real question will be how the Wildcats’ pitching responds here. Arizona has shown to struggle the most on the mound, and even though they’ve looked better over the last couple of games, the Wildcats will have to have strong performances if they are going to win this series!

With that said, here’s a look at Arizona’s upcoming opponent.
