Fresh off a four-game series win over Nevada, Arizona Baseball (32-14, 13-8) returns to action as they take on Grand Canyon (30-15, 17-4).

Arizona Baseball is rolling, fresh off of a four-game series win against a decent opponent in Nevada. And being winners in four of their last five games, the Wildcats  will have a tough challenge with Grand Canyon.

Coming in, the Wildcats face a talented Lopes squad that they split games with this year already, and Grand Canyon enters this one having won 11 of their last 15 games.

Arizona’s bats will need to be ready to go in this one as Grand Canyon also possesses plenty of firepower from the dish. Luckily, the Wildcats have the talent to get it done, averaging .291 from the plate with 49 combined home runs and 295 RBIs.

However, where the Wildcats will really need to step up is on the mound. As we’ve seen, Arizona tends to struggle in the deeper parts of their bullpen, and the team is currently sporting a combined, 4.22 ERA. They are also letting teams hit a respectable .257 from the dish.

With that said, here’s a look at the Wildcats’ upcoming opponent.
