Arizona Baseball takes on ASU in Pac-12 Elimination game

Coming off a loss to Stanford in the second round of the Pac-12 Baseball Tournament, Arizona Baseball (36-22,16-14) returns to action to take on ASU. 

After losing to Stanford in the second round of the Pac-12 Baseball Tournament, Arizona Baseball gets another life as they return to action to take on rival Arizona State on Friday afternoon in an elimination game.

Coming in, the Wildcats face a talented, but inconsistent Sun Devils squad that has already beaten Arizona earlier this year. The Devils are also fresh off a win over Oregon to stay alive in the tournament.

And as both teams enter Friday’s action, the stakes get even higher as the Devils could potentially play spoilers to the Wildcats.

Luckily, Arizona’s offense has been firing on all cylinders, totaling 16 runs in two games; however, where the Wildcats will need to improve things is on the mound. In their two games, Arizona has surrendered 20 runs (18 earned).
