Fresh off of a decent showing in the Pac-12 Tournament, Arizona Baseball (37-23,16-14) returns to action to take on Ole Miss to open Regional play.

After losing to Stanford in the semi-finals of the Pac-12 Baseball Tournament last weekend, Arizona Baseball returns to action where the stakes get even higher.

Traveling to Coral Gables for an NCAA Regional showdown that features host Miami, Ole Miss, and Canisius, the Wildcats will have to play some of their best baseball if they are to advance.

The Wildcats will kick off baseball action on Friday morning when they take on No. 3 seed Ole Miss, and this will be a rematch of the 2021 Super Regional that was held in Tucson.

Coming in, Arizona’s offense has been playing well having scored 28 runs in four games during the Pac-12 Tournament. So if the offense can continue its strong play, I like the Wildcats’ chances.

However, where Arizona will need to have a better performance on the mound. We are all aware of the Cats’ pitching struggles at this point; however, if they can find a way to tighten things up, they have a great chance at advancing.

With that said, here’s a look at Arizona’s upcoming opponent.
