We are still a ways away from the 2022-23 Arizona Basketball season, and the Wildcats have made tremendous progress in filling out its roster.

Well, it has certainly been a busy couple of months for Arizona Basketball, as the Wildcats have undergone significant changes. And luckily for us, the roster is beginning to take its form just head of the 2022-23 season.

But to first recap, in the past few months, the Wildcats lost Bennedict Mathurin, Christian Koloko, and Dalen Terry to the NBA Draft, and Justin Kier to graduation.

And Tommy Lloyd and the Wildcats have done a nice job to bring in more players and talent to fill in the gaps left by Mathurin, Koloko, and Terry.

As we’re already aware, the Wildcats have added Serbian wing Filip Borovicanin and highly-touted Estonian big man Henri Veesaar for 2022-23; however, the recruiting efforts didn’t stop there.

Taking a massive step forward in solidifying its roster, Arizona has also brought in Campbell wing Cedric Henderson Jr. and Texas shooting guard, Courtney Ramey.

And with the Arizona Basketball roster filling out, we provide an updated look at the Wildcats’ possible starters and rotation for next season.

Starters (based on who’s currently on the roster)

Point Guard – Kerr Kriisa

Shooting Guard – Courtney Ramey

Small Forward – Pelle Larsson

Power Forward – Azuolas Tubelis

Center – Oumar Ballo

Bench (based on who’s currently on the roster)

Guard/Forward – Cedric Henderson Jr.

Guard – Adama Bal

Guard/Forward – Filip Borovicanin

Forward/Center – Henri Veesaar

Forward/Center – Dylan Anderson

Now, this rotation is purely a guess on our end and does not necessarily mean this is what Tommy Lloyd will go with, after all, Pelle could easily come off the bench and Cedric could get the start in his place, or Bal could take a massive step forward as well.

Either way, the roster looks a lot better now than it did three weeks ago, and this team could still very well contend for a conference championship if the right guys take that next step in developing!
