Honorable Mention: Freshman Wide Receiver – Rex Haynes

A walk-on and first honorable mention on the list is San Diego area wide receiver, Rex Haynes. A standout from Cathedral Catholic, Rex is the son of former ASU legend Mike Haynes, and somehow landed on the Wildcats’ roster this summer.

Standing 6-feet-4-inches and weighing 200 pounds, he is a big and athletic receiver with tremendous size and speed.

Already, he seems to be turning heads in fall camp, and with the Wildcats’ needing more playmakers on offense, this seems like a reasonable pick for a potential breakout player to keep an eye on.
