Honorable Mention: Sophomore Linebacker – Kolbe Cage

Another honorable mention on the list, Kolbe is a player that could potentially breakout this season for the Cats. Now a sophomore, the former Holy Cross School (New Orleans, LA) standout is up to 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds and may finally be in a position to make an impact.

Likely to play a linebacker/safety hybrid of sorts in Johnny Nansen’s defense, Kolbe possesses the ideal size and speed to succeed.

So far, from all indications, he has had an impressive fall camp and could be in a position to make a big impact for the Wildcats.
