Freshman Defensive Tackle – Jacob Kongaika

One of the lesser-known recruits in the class of 2022, Jacob Kongaika joined the Wildcats late; however, he may be one of the bigger surprises this fall.

A standout from the extremely talented Mater Dei High School in Southern California, Jacob already is making an impact in fall camp.

Coming in, he stands an impressive 6-feet-2-inches and weighs roughly 285 pounds. He is quick and athletic for a player his size, and he plays with a bit of hunger and nastiness that should help this defense immensely. For that, look for Jacob to potentially be an impact player!
