After winning his fourth NBA championship, former Wildcat Andre Iguodala will return to Golden State for one last ride with the Warriors.

After 18 seasons in the NBA, things are slowly coming to an end for former Arizona Basketball star, Andre Iguodala.

Making news via social media on Friday afternoon, the NBA veteran announced that he will be returning to the Golden State Warriors, and after spending the past several weeks weighing his options, Iggy said he will give it one last go.

Enter year 19, Iggy has become a solid role player and contributor in the NBA after being drafted No. 9 overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2004 NBA Draft.

Before coming to the Bay Area, Iggy spent eight, productive seasons in the City of Brotherly Love before being traded away to Denver and essentially finding his forever home with the Warriors (2013-2019 & 2021-Present).

Appearing in 1,223 career games (784 starts), Iggy has totaled 13,951 career points (11.4 point average) playing in the NBA. And during his time in the league, he has also appeared in six NBA Finals, earning four NBA Titles, and one Finals MVP (2014-15).

And at this point, it can surely be argued, that Andre Iguodala’s career in the NBA is one of the most productive ones in Arizona Basketball history.

Over the years we have seen Iggy’s impact on the game of basketball, from his energy to superior athleticism, knowledge, and experience, he has become an ideal mentor to younger players. And with him coming back to Golden State, the Warriors should be in a great position to compete for yet another NBA Final.

Now 38, Iggy will give it one last go with the Warriors before beginning to focus on his life after basketball, and in honor of Iggy here are some much-needed highlights of him while he was at Arizona!
