Following their big conference win over Colorado, freshman wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors for Arizona Football.

The 2022 Arizona Football season is off and rolling as we now enter week six of the season, and this past weekend the Wildcats earned another dominant win, this time against conference foe, the Colorado Buffaloes.

Led by strong play from virtually everyone on the Wildcats in their big; however, not many had bigger games for Arizona than freshman wide receiver, Tetairoa McMillan.

Following his stellar performance, the Pac-12 announced Player of the Week honors on Monday, and on the list for Freshman POW was Tetairoa McMillan.

Presented by Nextiva, Arizona saw its first weekly performance selection in a few weeks after their dominant showing in Tucson.

Granted Jayden de Laura, Dorian Singer, and Jacob Cowing all had monstrous games, but standing out among all the freshmen in the conference was McMillan.

Playing in the fifth game of his collegiate career, the former five-star wide receiver had a big day as he totaled five receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown. He also completed a pass on Saturday, when he connected with Jayden on a little trickery that resulted in 11 yards.

So far, T-Mac has lived up to the hype this season as he has 16 receptions for 290 yards and three touchdowns for the Wildcats.

Big things are brewing in Tucson and second-year head coach Jedd Fisch Lloyd is a big reason for that. He has the Wildcats playing some good football in the early part of the season, and while this team has a long way to go, the future is bright.

Tetairoa and the Wildcats will return to action on Saturday when they take on No. Oregon (4-1, 2-0). Arizona will have a challenge on its hands as they welcome the Ducks to Arizona Stadium.
