Entering the final stretch of the season, Arizona Football (4-6, 2-5) will need to keep its emotions in check over the final two weeks.

We are in the final home stretch of the 2022 Arizona Football season, and following the Wildcats’ huge upset of No. 12 UCLA, Arizona returns to action in Tucson this week, this time taking on a talented Washington State Cougars

Arizona will then follow that up with a marquee showdown against rival Arizona State. So these next two weeks are huge for Arizona Football to say the least.

At 4-6 (2-5) entering the final stretch of the season, Arizona has a real chance to still become bowl eligible; however, the challenge won’t be an easy one.

And for Arizona Football to be successful over the next couple of weeks, the Wildcats will need to keep its emotions in check.

Coming into this week, Arizona will have a tough challenge against Washington State. The Cougars are a talented team, and this is going to be an emotional game for Arizona.

Arizona is fresh off of a major upset against UCLA, and while they return home with a winnable game at hand, the Wildcats will have to factor in that Jayden de Laura will be playing his former school. So this one is going to have a lot of meaning behind it.

So if Arizona is going to win, they are going to have to keep those emotions in check and play smart football.

On the heels of that game, will be a marquee matchup against Arizona State. A game that always evokes a lot of feelings and emotions for both teams, this will be another tough test for Arizona to close out the season.

And as 18-to-23-year-old kids, it is hard to match emotion two games in a row, so the hope is that the Wildcats can keep their emotions in check and put forth a good effort.

Here is to hoping Arizona can close out the 2022 season strong!
