TUCSON, AZ – Following their dominant performance in Maui, No. 4 Arizona Basketball (6-0) begins Pac-12 play against Utah (5-2).

Well, no one in college basketball arguably had a bigger week last week than Arizona Basketball. Starting the week ranked No. 17, the Wildcats have jumped 13 spots in the AP Poll.

With wins over Cincinnati and then No. 17 San Diego State and No. 10 Creighton, the Wildcats looked good in the Maui Invitational, pacing themselves to the eventual tournament win.

And after a long week off, Arizona is back in action! Returning to the hardwood for Pac-12 play, the Cats travel to Salt Lake City to take on Utah.

Coming in, the Utes are a decent opponent. They are 5-2 with a win over Georgia Tech, and they also were competitive in their loss to Mississippi State in the Fort Myers Tournament.

Overall, this is a game that the Wildcats should win easily; however, Utah does have some talent,  and playing a Pac-12 game on the road this early in the season is no easy feat. Arizona will have to be ready to go if they are to win this one.

So with Arizona Basketball preparing for Utah, here is how you can watch and follow their game.

Arizona Game Preview:

Beginning Pac-12 play already, Arizona has gotten off to a great start this season. Their fast and efficient offensive play is a big reason the team is 6-0 and is currently ranked No. 4 in the country.

And entering Thursday’s action, this matchup should be an interesting one. Together, both teams share quite a bit of a history here, and both teams play very different brands of basketball.

Overall, the Wildcats hold the lead in this series at 27-16, and Arizona has won three of the last four meetings. The last time these teams met, Arizona won 97-77 in Salt Lake City last February.

The Wildcats will need to be focused in this one if they hope to win, as this is a solid and capable Utah team! Tip-off is set for 6:30 P.M. Tucson time!
