After falling to No. 10 last week, Arizona Basketball (8-1, 1-1) climbed to No. 9 this week in the latest AP Top 25 poll.

The 2022-23 Arizona Basketball season is cruising right along, and a week after the Wildcats split their Pac-12 slate of games against Utah and Cal, the Wildcats had a great bounce-back week.

Returning to the hardwood with an even tougher challenge on their hands as No. 14 Indiana awaited them for the Las Vegas Clash, luckily, the Wildcats came prepared for this one!

Dominating on both ends of the floor on Saturday evening, Arizona came away with yet another convincing win against a Quad 1 team.

And after their tremendous showing in Vegas, Arizona climbed a little in the latest AP Poll that was announced on Monday afternoon, coming in at No. 9 this week.

Still at a very respectable spot; unfortunately, Arizona Basketball did not see too much movement in the latest AP Rankings.

Also joining Arizona from the Pac-12 Conference in the AP Top 25 was UCLA who checks in at No. 16 this week. Meanwhile, Arizona State and Utah are still on the outside looking in, earning 39 AP votes and 12 AP votes respectively

So, with the Wildcats climbing up to No. 9 in the country, they will have to remain focused this week as they take on Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Tuesday evening before facing No. 6 Tennessee for a marquee showdown.

As we learned last week, the Wildcats cannot overlook anyone and they will need to stay hungry and humble. Should the Wildcats take care of business this week, they will have a great opportunity to rise in the AP Top 25 rankings!
