No. 9 Arizona Basketball takes on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
TUCSON, AZ – Picking up a huge win against No. 14 Indiana, No. 9 Arizona Basketball (8-1, 1-1) returns to action to take on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (5-4).
Arizona Basketball had a huge week! One week removed from splitting the Pac-12 slate of games against Utah and Cal, the Wildcats responded in a big way this weekend.
Traveling to the Sin City for the Las Vegas Clash, the Wildcats returned to action against a talented Indiana team, where they earned a convincing, 89-75 win.
This week, Arizona will have another huge challenge. With a marquee showdown against No. 6 Tennessee looming, the Wildcats will first have to turn their focus to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Coming in, the Islanders are not a great team by any means; however, they are competitive and they do have some talent and athleticism.
Overall, this should be a game that the Wildcats have no trouble winning; however, as we learned against Utah, the Wildcats cannot take their foot off the gas, so the focus and effort have to be there!
