Arizona Football adds local 2024 WR, Brandon Phelps

Beginning to make progress in the recruiting class of 2024, Arizona Football has received a commitment from local wide receiver, Brandon Phelps. 

Arizona Football may be rounding out its recruiting class for 2023; however, that doesn’t mean that Jedd Fisch and the Wildcats cannot turn their focus to 2024.

Making news on Wednesday afternoon, amidst the hustle and bustle of Early Signing Day, Arizona landed its first commitment in the class of 2024, adding local wide receiver Brandon Phelps.

Announcing his commitment via social media, Phelps picked the Wildcats despite receiving interest from Arizona State, Michigan State, Colorado State, and Northern Arizona.

A standout three-star recruit in the class of 2024, Brandon is a big receiver from American Leadership Academy Gilbert North from just up the road in Gilbert, AZ.

Standing 6-feet-3-inches and weighing 190 pounds, Brandon Phelps will add immediate depth to a deep receiving corps for Arizona Football.

Beginning to make progress in the class of 2024, it is clear that Fisch and Co. are still wanting to bring in several talented offensive players, and Phelps appears to be just that for Arizona.

Joining the Wildcats, Brandon is a big and lengthy receiver with tremendous size, speed, and athleticism. And with his frame, he is going to be a solid downfield threat for the Cats. Overall, he has good hands and body control and has enough explosive speed to separate himself in the open field.

This is a player who with continued development, he could turn out to be a great addition to the Wildcats’ receiving corps. Just take a look at the Wildcats’ latest addition for 2024.
