After climbing to No. 5 last week, Arizona Basketball (12-1, 1-1) saw no movement in the latest AP Top 25 poll, staying put at No. 5.

We are quickly progressing through the 2022-23 Arizona Basketball season and already the Wildcats have piled up some nice wins, beating four Top 10 ranked teams this year.

And returning to the hardwood this past week for a pair of mid-week showdowns against Montana State and Morgan State, the Wildcats can rest easy for a few more days before its focus turns to rival ASU.

Dominating both games, Arizona came away with convincing wins against decent competition, improving to 12-1 on this young season.

And after their showing last week, Arizona stayed put in the latest AP Poll that was announced on Monday afternoon, coming in at No. 5 again this week.

Even though Arizona Basketball saw no movement in the latest AP Poll, the Wildcats still come in at a respectable No. 5 ranking.

So far this season, we have seen a fair share of Pac-12 teams in the Top 25 rankings, and joining the Wildcats this week was UCLA checking in at No. 11 this week, meanwhile, Arizona State fell out of the Top 25 following their 37-point loss to San Francisco, and USC receiver four Top 25 votes.

With the Wildcats staying put at No. 5 in the country, they will have to remain focused this week as they take on a very skilled Arizona State team on Saturday afternoon in Tempe.

Assuming Arizona wins that game, they will only continue to strengthen their tournament resume. However, the Wildcats cannot overlook anyone and they will need to stay hungry and humble if they look to continue climbing the ranks.

Either way, this team should have a great opportunity to rise in the AP Top 25 rankings so long as they take care of business this week!
