Falling to No. 9 last week following their loss to WSU, Arizona Basketball (15-3, 4-3) dropped even further, falling to No. 11 in the latest AP Top 25 rankings.

The 2022-23 Arizona Basketball season is cruising along, and ever since the second half against ASU, the Wildcats have not been the same team that we saw go 12-0 in non-conference play.

Once again, having another up-and-down week, the Wildcats came away with a nice win against the Beavers in Corvallis, despite a porous second half. Arizona was then humbled when they were shellacked on Saturday afternoon against Oregon, losing 87-68.

After their up-and-down week, Arizona made news on Monday afternoon as in the latest AP Top 25 Poll, the Wildcats checked in at No. 11 this week.

Still at a very respectable spot; however, Arizona Basketball was served more humble pie, as the Wildcats are in free fall in the latest AP Top 25 rankings.

The Pac-12 Conference is very top heavy this year; however, a few teams are getting respect from the conference as UCLA checked in this week at No. 5, meanwhile, ASU is beginning to receive votes again following their sweep of the Oregon schools with 79 votes.

So, with the Wildcats now ranking No. 11 in the country, they will have to bounce back this week in a big way as Arizona welcomes the Los Angeles schools to town. Arizona will take on USC on Thursday evening, followed by a marquee showdown against UCLA on Saturday.

These Wildcats are proving that they cannot overlook anyone and they will need to bring that energy and hunger that we saw earlier in the year if they hope to turn things around.

Should the Wildcats take care of business this week, Arizona could possibly climb back into the AP Top 10!
