Even though we are several months away from the 2023 Arizona Football season, the Wildcats have announced their schedule for the upcoming season.

It seemed like yesterday that the 2022 Arizona Football season came to an end. And fresh off of a season in which the Wildcats improved from one win in 2021 to five wins in 2022, the Wildcats are busy making preparations for the 2023 season.

And on Wednesday afternoon, we got another step closer as the Wildcats officially announced their schedule for the upcoming season.

Officially kicking off their season on September 2 at home against in-state rival, Northern Arizona, the Wildcats will travel to Starkville the week after to take on Mississippi State followed by a home game against UTEP before kicking off Pac-12 play.

Seeing a bit of an “easier” non-conference schedule, Arizona Football could be primed to make a jump in 2023.

This last season was a bit of an up-and-down one for Arizona. Despite starting the season 3-2, Arizona then ran into quite the gauntlet, taking on several Top 25 teams in Oregon, Washington, USC, and Utah before earning an upset against then No. 9 UCLA.

Sitting at 4-6 with two games left, unfortunately, Arizona then limped to a 1-1 finish with a season finale win against Arizona State that snapped a five-game losing streak to the Sun Devils.

This year, Arizona will see a small ease in its schedule as they hope to make a jump in 2023. Opening up with a more favorable non-conference schedule, Arizona will then open conference play by traveling to Stanford before ending its season at ASU in Tempe on November 25 (Saturday). Arizona’s bye week will be October 21.

As of right now, here is what Arizona’s schedule looks like for 2023, and the remaining details of the schedule will be released in the coming months.
