Still adding last-minute pieces to the recruiting class of 2023, Arizona Football has received another commitment, this time from four-star LB, Leviticus Su’a.
National Signing Day is just around the corner, and Arizona Football has added another piece to its recruiting class for 2023.
Making news on Friday evening at the Polynesian Bowl in Honolulu, HI, the Wildcats have secured a commitment for 2023, this time it is four-star linebacker, Leviticus Su’a.
Announcing his commitment at the Bowl Game, Su’a picked the Wildcats over UCLA and Stanford, despite receiving interest from several others.
A highly-rated prospect in the class of 2023, Su’a is not only one of the top linebackers from the talent-rich state of California but also in the country.
Standing 6-feet-1-inch and weighing 210 pounds, Leviticus Su’a will add immediate depth and talent to the linebacker corps for Arizona Football.
Last year, we all saw that the Wildcats needed help on defense in the worst way imaginable, and it has been clear that this coaching staff has prioritized recruiting for the defense as well as working to upgrade the talent.
Head Coach Jedd Fisch and staff working hard on the recruiting trail, adding several defensive players in the recruiting class of 2023. And so far, Arizona’s class has primarily been several defensive recruits, Leviticus is just the latest of many additions to the class.
Hailing from the talented Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA, Su’a is a strong and physical linebacker with great instincts and playmaking ability. He possesses great speed from sideline to sideline, and he doesn’t shy from contact packing a heavy blow when tackling defenders.
Coming in as a talented freshman, this is a player that could have an immediate impact this season with the Wildcats, after all the opportunity is there! Here is just a small preview of what we could see in Tucson.
