PULLMAN, WA – Earning the huge win against UCLA, No. 6 Arizona Basketball (17-3, 6-3) travels to take on Washington State (9-12, 4-6).

Bouncing back in a big way by getting the sweep over USC and then No. 5 ranked UCLA in Tucson last week, No. 6 Arizona Basketball resumes Pac-12 this week.

Traveling to the Pacific Northwest to take on the Washington schools, Arizona will have a big challenge on Thursday evening when they return to the hardwood to take on the Washington State Cougars.

As we’ve already seen, Washington State is a talented but rather inconsistent team. And although the Wildcats are favored in this one, road games in the Pac-12 have proven to be tough for the Wildcats, plus Arizona has already lost to Wazzu earlier this season.

Against the Cougars, Arizona should have the advantage; however, that doesn’t mean that the Cats can overlook this game again. Arizona will have to bring the intensity and get a better effort from its offense this time around if they are going to earn the win!

With Arizona Basketball preparing for Washington State, here is how you can watch and follow their game.

Arizona Game Preview:

Resuming conference play against conference foe Washington State, Arizona will look to avenge their loss from a couple of weeks ago, as well as continue its winning ways after sweeping the Los Angeles Schools.

Coming into Thursday’s action, this should be an entertaining matchup as both squads share quite the collective history, and Arizona has dominated this series by a 66-17 advantage since 1978.

However, both these teams met just a couple of weeks ago, where Wazzu walloped the Wildcats in Tucson, coming away with the 74-61 victory in McKale.

And despite Washington State’s 9-12 record, the Cougars are a competitive team as we have regrettably seen previously, and the Wildcats will have to play much better in this one if they are to win.

Arizona’s offense is going to need to get to work quickly in this one, meanwhile, their defense has to bring the effort and intensity if they hope to avoid another upset here! Don’t forget your coffee for this one as tip-off is set for 9:00 P.M. Tucson time!
