Climbing up to No. 5 last week, Arizona Basketball (21-3, 10-3) saw a little more movement in the AP Rankings, jumping to No. 4 this week!

We are getting closer and closer to March as Arizona Basketball is steadily rolling along in the 2022-23 season. And after falling to Oregon in Eugene just a couple of weeks ago, the Wildcats have been rolling!

And with a four-game winning streak on the line, Arizona continued their hot play when they returned to the hardwood to take on the Oregon schools in Tucson.

Having to weather a strong push from Oregon on Thursday night, the Wildcats came away with the dominant, 91-75 win behind 40 points from Azuolas Tubelis.

Arizona followed that up with a blowout win on Saturday evening when they whooped Oregon State by an 84-52 final to close out the week.

And after their tremendous showing at home, Arizona climbed again in the latest AP Rankings that was announced on Monday afternoon, this week checking in at No. 4.

Cementing itself in the Top 10 in the AP Rankings, Arizona Basketball will have to continue to play to its potential as the season winds down.

Also joining Arizona from the Pac-12 Conference in the AP Top 25 was UCLA who checks in at No. 7 this week. Meanwhile, USC is on the outside looking in, receiving 0 votes yet again this week.

So, with the Wildcats climbing up to No. 4 in the country, they will have to remain focused this week, especially as they travel to the Bay Area to take on Cal and Stanford.

Should the Wildcats take care of business this week, they will have a great opportunity to strengthen their tournament resume!
