No. 4 Arizona Basketball takes on Cal in the Bay Area

TUCSON, AZ – Riding a six-game winning streak, No. 4 Arizona Basketball (21-3, 10-3) looks to start their Bay Area trip with a win against Cal (3-20, 2-10).

No. 4 Arizona Basketball is rolling! After losing to Oregon in Eugene a couple of weeks ago, the Wildcats are winners of six straight, and Arizona is back in action as they take on Cal.

Returning to the hardwood to face the Golden Bears, the Wildcats should have a clear advantage here; however, now isn’t the time for Arizona to get complacent and lose focus.

Coming in, the Wildcats are the double-digit favorites, but like their previous games, it is going to take another solid offensive performance, and the defense will have to continue to bring the intensity  if they are going to get the win here!

Resuming conference play against Pac-12 foe Cal, Arizona has found its stride again, and entering Thursday’s action, this should be a good one!

Together, both teams share quite the collective history here, and overall Arizona has dominated this series, holding the 70-22 advantage since 1965, including winning the last 12 straight.

The last time both these teams played each other was in Tucson in December where Arizona came away with the 81-68 victory.

Arizona’s offense is going to need to get to work quickly in this one and keep its momentum going, meanwhile, the defense has to bring the intensity if they are going to the upset! Get your coffee, because this is going to be a late one as tip-off is currently set for 9:00 P.M. Tucson time!
