TUCSON, AZ – Looking to rebound from their drubbing to No. 6 Stanford, No. 17 Arizona Women’s Basketball (18-6, 8-5) looks to rebound against Cal (12-12, 3-10).

Well, Thursday night was not one to remember for No. 17 Arizona Women’s Basketball. Despite the Wildcats packing McKale, No. 6 Stanford was too much for the Wildcats as they ran away with the 84-60 win.

And fresh off that lopsided loss, Arizona returns to the hardwood to face Cal, looking to rebound against the Golden Bears.

Coming in, the Wildcats are the favorites in this one; however, it is going to take a focused effort from the Cats if they are going to get back on track in this one.

Arizona Game Preview:

Resuming conference play against Pac-12 foe Cal, Arizona is looking to get back on track again and entering Sunday’s action, we should be in store for a good one!

Together, both teams share quite the competitive history here, and overall this has been a fairly even matchup with Cal holding the narrow, 38-35 advantage since 1977; however, Arizona has won the last four straight.

The last time both these teams played each other was in Berkeley this past December where Arizona came away with a narrow, 63-56 victory.

Arizona’s offense will need to get to find its rhythm in this one and keep its momentum going, meanwhile, the defense has to bring the intensity if they are going to win here! Tip-off is currently set for 12:00 P.M. Tucson time!
