TUCSON, AZ – Closing out their weekend action against Colorado (15-12, 7-9), No. 8 Arizona Basketball (23-4, 12-4) will look to beat the visiting Buffaloes.

Getting things back on track with a huge win over Utah on Thursday evening, No. 8 Arizona Basketball is back in action again, looking to close out the weekend on a high note as they take on Colorado.

Returning to the hardwood to face the visiting Buffaloes, the Wildcats are the heavy favorites in this one; however, as we have seen previously, sometimes the Wildcats get caught playing down to its competition, so this is another game in which Arizona cannot overlook its opponent.

For Arizona to win, it is going to take another solid offensive performance, and the defense will have to continue to bring a great effort if they are going to close out the weekend strong!

Arizona Game Preview:

Resuming conference play against Pac-12 foe Colorado, Arizona will have to stay hot if it hopes to continue its winning ways. And entering Saturday’s action, this should be a fun one!

Together, both teams share quite the competitive history here, and overall Arizona has controlled this series, holding the 20-10 advantage since 1965; however, Colorado has won three of the last seven meetings.

The last time both these teams played each other was in Las Vegas last March for the Pac-12 Tournament. Arizona came away with the 82-72 win!

Arizona’s offense is going to need to find its offensive rhythm early in this one and keep its momentum going, meanwhile, the defense has to bring the intensity if they are going to get the victory! Tip-off is currently set for 6:00 P.M. Tucson time!
