Spring Football is just around the corner for Arizona Football and the Wildcats have announced its annual Spring Game to be held on April 15.

It has been a long couple of months since Arizona Football last took the field, and I am sure Wildcat fans like us are looking forward to the 2023 season, especially as Arizona ended 2022 with a bang!

Add on to that, that Arizona signed a respectable Top 50 recruiting class for 2023, and also added some valuable transfers via the infamous portal.

And with the hype that has been building this off-season for the Wildcats, it has many, including us at Zona Zealots, very excited about the upcoming season. But first, Spring Football needs to happen.

For those that have been longing for information to be announced about Spring Football, well, you are in luck as the school finally announced on Wednesday the date for the Spring game, which has been set for April 15.

Kick-off is currently set for 3:30 PM, with gates opening at 2:30 PM. Concessions will be available for this game!

The Spring game will offer fans an early look at the 2023 Arizona Football team as well as the changes that have been made to the team.

Last year, fans saw significant improvement in year two of the Jedd Fisch era. Former Washington State quarterback Jayden de Laura transferred in and brought immediate explosiveness to this offense.

Utilizing a bevy of talented receivers including Jacob Cowing, Dorian Singer, and Tetairoa McMillan, the Wildcats had one of the better offenses in the country, averaging 30.8 points per game.

However, defensively, the Wildcats regressed a bit in 2022. And with the Wildcats adding several valuable pieces in the transfer portal and in the recruiting class of 2023, the hope is that heading into the Spring, this is a group that will be at least marginally improved.

Spring practices have not yet been announced; however, stay tuned as more details are soon to follow!
