TUCSON, AZ – Looking to earn the sweep against rival Arizona State, No. 7 Arizona Basketball (24-4, 13-4) will have a battle against the Sun Devils.

Since falling to Stanford on the road a couple of weeks ago, No. 7 Arizona Basketball is back in action for Senior day in McKale Center as they take on a talented ASU team.

Coming in, the Sun Devils are a skilled and well-coached team, and although the Wildcats are favored in this one, this is going to be a significant challenge for the Wildcats, and Arizona will have to bring the intensity if they are going to get the win.

Overall, I like Arizona’s size and talent down low which should allow for a competitive advantage, but a lot will depend on if the Cats can stay out of foul trouble.

Beyond that, Arizona will need to start hot and not let the Devils get rolling from behind the arc. If those things happen, look for the Cats to win big on Senior Day!

With Arizona Basketball preparing for Arizona State, here is how you can watch and follow their game.

Arizona Game Preview:

Resuming conference play against Arizona State, Arizona looks to be back on track after losing to Stanford in Palo Alto. However, this will be a great test against the Sun Devils on Senior day

Entering Saturday’s action, this should be a fun matchup as both squads are bitter rivals, and there is no love lost between the two programs. And since 1967, Arizona dominates by a 74-42 advantage in this series, with Arizona winning the last five straight.

The last time both these squads met was in Tempe in December where Arizona came away with the 69-60 win over the Sun Devils.

However, Arizona will have to treat this one with just as much seriousness as their marquee games as their destiny rests in their hands, and Arizona is in a great position to strengthen its tournament resume. If Arizona is to win, they will need to be focused and bring the effort because we know ASU will! Tip-off is set for 12:00 P.M. Tucson time!
