TUCSON, AZ – Returning to action after their series loss to West Virginia, Arizona Baseball (4-3) returns to action against California Baptist (3-4).
After winning the series finale against West Virginia on Sunday to prevent the sweep, Arizona Baseball is back in action for a midweek tilt.
Coming in, the Wildcats welcome the California Baptist Lancers who come to Tucson after dropping two games in a three-game road set at Nevada.
Tuesday’s game will be the first traditional midweek game of the year for the Wildcats, and overall, Arizona should have a fairly tough challenge.
Disregard Cal Baptist’s record, this is a program that has won a lot of games over the years, and if the Wildcats are ready or focused, they could get beat at home.
Overall, I do like the talent advantage that Arizona has in this one, and so long as the Wildcats take care of business, look for Arizona to pick up the win!
With that said, here’s a look at the Wildcats’ upcoming opponent!
