Arizona Game Preview:

Arizona got back on track in a big way after getting its revenge on Stanford in the Pac-12 Quarterfinals to begin conference tournament play.

Returning to action on Friday evening against Arizona State, the Wildcats will resume conference tournament play against the Sun Devils. And coming in, they will have an even bigger test as they take on an ASU that has been playing well, plus the stakes are now even higher.

Entering Friday’s action, this should be an exciting matchup as both squads are bitter rivals, and there is no love lost between the two programs.

Since 1967, Arizona has dominated this series by a 74-43 margin, with the Wildcats winning five of the last six meetings.

However, unfortunately, as we are all too aware, the last time both of these squads met was in Tucson a couple of weeks ago where Arizona State came away with the shocking, 89-88 win on a buzzer-beater to sink the Cats on Senior Day.

However, Arizona will have to treat this one with just as much seriousness as their other games as the Sun Devils are playing well, and another loss to them would be unbearable. If Arizona is to win, they will need to be focused and bring the effort because we know ASU will! Tip-off is set for 9:30 P.M. Tucson time!
