Arizona Basketball earns No. 2 seed in the South Region

Fresh off of a Pac-12 Tournament Championship win over No. 2 UCLA, No. 8 Arizona Basketball (28-6, 14-5) has earned a 2-seed in the South Region of the NCAA Tournament.

Closing out the Pac-12 Conference Tournament with a championship win over rival No. 2 UCLA, No. 8 Arizona Basketball now turns its focus to the annual NCAA Tournament.

At 28-6 (14-6), the Wildcats were guaranteed a spot in the annual March Madness; however, the question was where Arizona would land.

Well, as we anxiously awaited to learn the Wildcats’ fate, the results are finally in!

And making news on Sunday afternoon, Arizona has officially earned a two-seed in the South Region of the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row!

Facing potential matchups with No. 1 Alabama, No. 3 Baylor, No. 4 Virginia, No. 5 San Diego State, No. 6 Creighton, and No. 7 Missouri among others, this should be an exciting March Madness!

Opening tournament play against 15-seeded Princeton, No. 8 Arizona Basketball will have to be ready to compete!
