Fresh off of a win over Utah Tech on Tuesday evening, Arizona Baseball (13-6, 3-3) returns to action to take on Arizona State to resume Pac-12 play.
After getting swept by UCLA last weekend to resume Pac-12 play, Arizona Baseball got back on track in a big way as they beat Utah Tech 11-2 on Tuesday evening for a mid-week tilt against the Trailblazers.
However, the challenge is a bit greater this weekend for Arizona, as the Wildcats travel just up the road to take on rival Arizona State in enemy territory.
Coming in, the Wildcats have been playing fairly well, unfortunately, the results just haven’t always been consistent, especially against top-tier competition.
So if Arizona is going to win this series, they will need to continue to generate runs at a decent, meanwhile, the Wildcats will need to get more consistent pitching, especially from its day two and three starters, as well as the bullpen.
If the Wildcats can find a way to tighten things up, they have a great chance of coming away with the conference series win.
With that said, here’s a look at Arizona’s upcoming opponent!
