Gronk Brothers named Captains for Arizona Football Spring game
With the Spring Football game quickly approaching for Arizona Football, the Wildcats have named Rob and Chris Gronkowski honorary captains.
As we quickly approach the month of April, that means we are another day closer to seeing Arizona Football return to action, and it should be an eventful Spring for the Wildcats too, as we’ve all learned that former Wildcats Rob Gronkowski and Chris Gronkowski will be participating.
Making news via social media on Wednesday afternoon, the former Wildcats and Gronk Brothers will announced as honorary captains for the upcoming Spring game for Arizona, which is good news for Wildcat fans that will be in attendance.
With head coach Jedd Fisch now entering his third season in Tucson, the Wildcats are trying to build more hype around the program and the upcoming 2023 Football season.
And what better way to showcase the team than to feature arguably the two most fun-loving Wildcats in program history?
With the Gronk vs Gronk Spring Game approaching for Arizona Football, we take a quick look at our Wildcats heading into 2023.
As of the moment, the 2023 Spring Football game will be played on Saturday, April 15 at 3:30 p.m. (MST) inside Arizona Stadium, where it’ll essentially be Gronk vs Gronk.
Rob is now in year two of his second retirement after putting together a storied career with both the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
As for his older brother, Chris has been staying busy with several endeavors outside of football. And it will be great to see our two Wildcats back in Tucson as they take part in the Spring festivities.
Wildcat fans will be able to catch all the fun and excitement as Arizona closes out its spring practice and prepares for the 2023 season. Gates will open at 2:30 p.m. (an hour before kickoff).
