As the 2022-23 NBA season winds down, things aren’t slowing down for former Wildcat Gabe York, as the former Arizona Basketball star signed a two-way contract.

The NBA regular season is soon drawing to a close, but for former Arizona Basketball star Gabe York, things are just heating up for him as he gets another opportunity to showcase himself in the NBA.

On the heels of Kobi Simmons making an NBA roster, York made news via social media on Thursday afternoon, it was announced that the former Wildcat had signed a two-way contract with the Indiana Pacers.

For those that may recall, Gabe already had a brief stint in the NBA last year with the Pacers, playing in two games.

Well once again, York is getting another chance as he leaves behind the Fort Wayne Mad Ants!

With the NBA Season wrapping up, the Indiana Pacers are giving Gabe York another opportunity to make an impact with the team.

So far this season, Gabe is proving that experience matters, and in his 27 games played with the Indiana Pacers’ G-League affiliate team, York is averaging 21.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game on 44.9 percent shooting from the field.

Granted, there is no guarantee that Gabe will even get any significant amount of playing time over the next couple of weeks; however, the opportunity is at least there for him once again. And, if given a shot, we know he is going to put on a show!

For Wildcats fans, this will be exciting to follow as the Pacers are essentially becoming a hub for our former Wildcats. Already, Indiana has Ben Mathurin and TJ McConnell on their team!
