Continuing to build out their recruiting class for 2024, Arizona Football has received another commitment, this time from Mater Dei cornerback, Isaiah Buxton.

While Arizona Football and head coach Jedd Fisch have been busy with their off-season, things haven’t slowed down on their recruiting efforts in the class of 2024.

And making news on Wednesday, Arizona landed another for 2024, this time adding three-star cornerback, Isaiah Buxton.

Announcing his commitment via social media, Buxton picked the Wildcats despite reportedly receiving interest from BYU, Cal, Colorado, and Colorado State along with several other schools.

A higher-rated corner in the class of 2024, Isaiah is a steadily-rising defensive prospect that hails from the supremely talented Mater Dei High School in Southern California.

Standing a lengthy, 6-feet tall and weighing 165 pounds, Isaiah Buxton will add immediate depth and talent to the Arizona Football secondary.

So far for 2024, coach Fisch and the Wildcats have gone defense-heavy with this recruiting class, with three of their five commitments being defensive players.

Joining fellow commits Brandon Phelps, Jordan Washington, Luke Ferrelli, and Nazaiah Caravallo, Isaiah is a skilled corner with great size, instincts, and playmaking ability.

Overall, he is a talented kid and is one of Southern California’s top defensive backs, and at 6 feet tall, Isaiah is a skilled corner with great coverage and ball skills. He has nice size and should be a solid addition to the secondary for the Wildcats.

This is a kid that could have a big impact at Arizona, and he plays with a level physicality and confidence that the Wildcats desperately need! Here is just a small preview of what we could see in Tucson!
