Arizona Athletics excels in the latest APR Report
Seeing unparalleled academic success, Arizona Athletics is excelling in the classroom as well, as the Wildcats released their latest Academic Progress Rate.
As good of a year as Arizona Athletics had in 2021-22, we are now learning that the Wildcats may have had an even better year inside the classroom.
Making news on Tuesday, the NCAA released its annual Academic Progress Rate (APR) data for 2021-22, and once again, Arizona tied its program best by having 11 different sports teams post a perfect score of 1,000 for a single year.
And beyond that, “football, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, volleyball, and beach volleyball programs also recorded all-time highs in multi-year APR scores” according to ArizonaWildcats.com.
As Arizona Athletics continues to set a championship standard of excellence in the field of competition, the Wildcats are taking care of business in class.
Earlier this year, Arizona posted an overall grade point average of 3.300, which was an all-time high for Arizona Athletics for a single semester. In addition to that, Arizona also matched its best Graduate Success Rate (GSR) score by posting an 87 percent! That’s impressive!
As we know, the Pac-12’s standard of excellence goes beyond the field of competition, and Arizona more than handled its business this past year. And with a large contingency of student-athletes going pro in other fields not related to athletics, it is great to see our Wildcats prepare for the future!
We are proud of the hard work in and out of the classroom!
