Beginning to make progress in the recruiting class of 2025, Arizona Football has received a commitment from in-state offensive lineman, Toby Mealer.
Who says it is too early to start recruiting for the class of 2025? Well, if you are head coach Jedd Fisch and Arizona Football, it certainly isn’t, as the Wildcats are off and rolling!
Making news on Tuesday, Arizona landed its first commitment in the class of 2025, adding three-star offensive lineman, Toby Mealer.
Announcing his commitment via social media, Mealer picked the Wildcats despite receiving offers from Arizona State and UMass.
A quickly rising prospect in the state of Arizona for 2025, Toby hails from the supremely talented Hamilton High School in Chandler.
Standing a massive, 6-feet-5-inches and weighing 340 pounds, Toby Mealer is going to be a huge addition to the offensive line for Arizona Football.
If you have learned anything about college football, it is that you cannot teach size, and you can never have enough capable offensive linemen! And luckily for us, Toby fits that mold perfectly!
A massive offensive line prospect, Toby is a talented kid and is one of the best offensive linemen in the state as a soon-to-be junior.
Even at his size, Toby moves well and tends to excel in the run game. He explodes off the football, and he does a great job with initiating and maintaining contact. He does well in getting to that next level on his blocks and also seems to finish his blocks well!
This is a kid that could use a bit more work, but with continued strength and improved technique, he will be a load to handle! Here is just a small preview of what we could see in Tucson!
