The 2023-24 Arizona Basketball may be several months away, but we take an updated look at the Wildcats’ roster and their remaining recruiting needs.

It has been a couple of months since Arizona Basketball shockingly lost to 15th-seed Princeton in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and at this point, as most fans have seemingly recovered from the heartbreak, now the focus turns to 2023-24.

So far, this off-season has been a pretty fruitful one, and despite the Wildcats seeing a bit of roster turnover, head coach Tommy Lloyd and Arizona have been aggressive on the recruiting trail.

Adding a few crucial pieces to its roster, the Wildcats are slowly but surely coming together.

And coming into the 2023-24 Arizona Basketball season, we take an updated look at the Wildcats’ roster as well as their remaining recruiting needs.

My, what a difference a few weeks make. After the roster looked a bit bleak following the transfers of Kerr Kriisa and Adama Bal, as well as the departure of Azuolas Tubelis, things are starting to look a bit more promising.

And as of the moment, here is the presumed rotation for Arizona next season

Guards/Wings:  Kylan Boswell, Jaden Bradley (Alabama Transfer), Pelle Larsson, and KJ Lewis (2023 commit)

Forwards: Filip Borovicanin

Center(s): Oumar Ballo, Henri Veesaar, Dylan Anderson, and Moetijus Krivas (2023 commit)

Overall, this is a group with a few glaring holes, particularly at forward and in the backcourt; however, this is starting to look like a group that can compete and win some games next season.

If Henri, Dylan, and Filip show marginal improvement and become suitable rotation players next season, this could turn out to be another exciting and electric group.

Either way, it should continue to be a fun off-season to follow if you are a fan of Arizona Basketball!
