Arizona Basketball added yet another commitment for 2023, as Tommy Lloyd and the Wildcats have received a commitment from Paulius Murauskas.

Just one day after Arizona Basketball picked up a commitment from Motiejus Krivas for 2023, Tommy Lloyd and the Wildcats weren’t done, adding yet another player for next year.

Breaking the news via social media on Wednesday, the Wildcats picked up a commitment from Paulius Murauskas, another elite international prospect for 2023, and former countryman to Krivas.

Also hailing from Lithuania, Paulius Murauskas is yet another elite international basketball prospect that will join Arizona Basketball.

It was just a couple of weeks ago that there were some concerns with the outlook of the 2023 recruiting class, and head coach Tommy Lloyd’s ability to recruit at a high level. Luckily, a lot of those concerns have dissipated as the Wildcats have had a very busy couple of weeks.

Less than 24 hours after receiving a commitment from Motiejus, Arizona now has added fellow Lithuanian star, Murauskas.

For Arizona, Paulius is another solid addition to the program, as he is considered by many to be one of the best international players. And with his length and versatility, he will help bring immediate skill to the Wildcats.

At 6-feet-8-inches, Paulis has some nice length, and he is a player that can create shots and score at all three levels. Overall, his three-point shooting could improve, however, he is a prospect that can play through contact and he possesses solid upside on defense as well.

This past season with Lietkabelis, Murauskas appeared in 51 games where he averaged a very respectable 6.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game on 53.8 percent shooting from the field according to Real GM.

Arizona has made great progress in the recruiting class for 2023, and with KJ Lewis, Jaden Bradley, and Motiejus on board as well, Tommy and the Wildcats are putting together a solid core! Just take a look at Arizona’s latest commitment!
