Continuing to build out its roster for 2023-24, Arizona Basketball has received a commitment from Spanish point guard, Conrad Martinez.
Just days after receiving a few commitments for 2023, Arizona Basketball picked up yet another commitment for next season, this time adding Spanish point guard, Conrad Martinez.
Breaking the news via social media on Thursday, Martinez announced that he would not be returning to his club team, and instead will play for the Wildcats next season.

Hailing from Spain, Conrad Martinez is yet another international basketball prospect that will join Arizona Basketball.
It was just a couple of weeks ago that there were some concerns with the outlook of the 2023-24 roster for Arizona Basketball, and head coach Tommy Lloyd’s ability to recruit at a high level. Luckily, a lot of those concerns have since dissipated as the Wildcats have had a very busy couple of weeks.
Just a couple of weeks after receiving commitments from Lithuanian stars Paulius Murauskas and Motiejus Krivas, as well as San Diego State transfer Keshad Johnson, Arizona adds yet another player for next season.
For Arizona, Conrad is a solid addition to the program, and he should be a bit more of a developmental player that will add depth in the backcourt.
At 6-feet tall, Conrad is a bit of a smaller guard that has spent the past few seasons playing for the youth team of the Spanish professional Club team Joventut Badalona.
Appearing in 18 games (eight starts) with CB Prat and Joventut, Conrad averaged a respectable 8.8 points and 3.3 assists per game on 37.8 percent shooting from the field according to Real GM.
Arizona has made great progress in the recruiting class for 2023, and with who the Wildcats have committed for 2023-24 so far, Tommy and the Wildcats should have a solid core for next season! Just take a look at Arizona’s latest commitment!
