Arizona Baseball prepares for TCU to open Regional play
FAYETTEVILLE, AR – After sneaking into the NCAA Tournament as an at-large bid, Arizona Baseball (33-24) begins regional action against TCU (37-22).
After finding a nice rhythm in the Conference Tournament to earn an at-large bid in the NCAA Regionals, Arizona Baseball will hit the road to begin their NCAA Tournament play against TCU, Santa Clara, and Arkansas in the Fayetteville Regional.
Coming in, the Wildcats will take on the TCU Horned Frogs who enter this game fresh off of a Conference Tournament victory where they beat Oklahoma State in the finals to earn the automatic bid.
Friday’s game will be a tough one, and like Arizona, TCU is playing very well, having rattled off six-straight wins, including winners in 12 of their last 14 games.
Overall, this should be a fun matchup, and Arizona will have to replicate the offense they had in the Pac-12 Conference Tournament if they hope to win this one!
