Following a busy recruiting weekend, Arizona Football and Jedd Fisch received six commitments for 2024 on an event-filled Monday.

It was another busy recruiting weekend in Tucson for head coach Jedd Fisch and the Wildcats as Arizona Football played host to several recruits for a big recruiting weekend.

And it appears that their hard work from this past weekend paid off once again as the Wildcats secured more commitments. Except this time, it wasn’t just one verbal pledge. In fact, Arizona added six new commits for 2024.

Making news on Monday afternoon, Arizona landed one commitment after another, after another, after another…

Bringing their commitment total up to 13 for 2024, Jedd Fisch and Arizona Football had arguably their busiest recruiting day.

So far in 2024, coach Fisch and the Wildcats have been aggressive on the recruiting trail, adding several players to the class.

And just a week after receiving a commitment from Texas Edge Rusher Eduwa Okundaye, the Wildcats had a massive day, picking SIX verbals from the following…

3* DL – Keona Wilhite (Salpointe Catholic High School – Tucson, AZ)

A steadily rising prospect in the class of 2024, Keona plays just up the road at Salpointe Catholic, and he is a hell of a prospect.

With offers from UCLA, Washington, and Oregon State among others, Keona is a terrific edge rusher with great size. And at 6-feet-5-inches and 236 pounds, he stands to add more size, and this is a kid that could become a big-time player at the next level.

3* ATH – Kayo Patu (Capital Christian – Sacramento, CA)

A solid athlete from Northern California, Kayo is a unique prospect that could come in and potentially play a few positions with the Wildcats.

With offers from Cal, Washington State, UNLV, and Utah State among others, this is a nice addition for Arizona, and with the athleticism he offers, he could become a nice surprise.

3* RB – Adam Mohammed (Apollo High School – Glendale, AZ)

A bit of an underrated prospect in the state of Arizona, Adam is an athletic and hard-running running back that has put up monstrous numbers. At Apollo last season, Adam ran for over 1,300 yards and 30 touchdowns.

With the deep backfield the Wildcats currently have, Adam is only going to help bolster Arizona’s running back corps.

OL – Michael Watkins (Apollo High School – Glendale, AZ)

One of three commitments on the day from Apollo High School in Glendale, AZ, Michael is a steadily-rising lineman in the state of Arizona, and at 6-feet-3-inches and 282 pounds, he is a massive kid that has the potential to add more size.

Picking Arizona over offers from Cal and Colorado State, this is a nice pick-up for Arizona, and Michael is a solid depth addition to the offensive line.

OL – Matthew Lado (Apollo High School – Glendale, AZ)

The last of the three commitments on the day from Apollo High School in Glendale, AZ, Matthew is another under-the-radar prospect after picking Arizona despite receiving interest from Colorado State.

At 6-feet-6-inches and 260 pounds, Matthew is a big kid that has the potential to add more size and should help bolster this offensive line.

DL – Jaedon Langley (Boswell High School – Fort Worth, TX)

The last and final commitment of the day, Jaedon hails from the Lonestar state, and despite his current non-ranking, this is a kid with big potential. With offers from Utah, SMU, Texas Tech, and North Texas among others, Jaedon possesses a lot of upside, and at 6-feet-3-inches and 230 pounds, he should be able to add more size and be a nice depth add to the defense!
