TUCSON, AZ – Beginning the 2023 season, Arizona Football (0-0) kicks off their year by taking on in-state rival, Northern Arizona (0-0).

The 2023 Arizona Football season is finally here! And after much anticipation, it is game day for the Wildcats as they prepare for their week one matchup against in-state rival, Northern Arizona.

Returning to the friendly confines of Arizona Stadium, the Wildcats are the heavy favorites in this one, especially as they take on the FCS Lumberjacks.

Already, it has been a busy couple of months for the Wildcats as Arizona officially enters year three of the Jedd Fisch era, and overall, we should be in store for an exciting season.

Coming into this matchup, the Wildcats are a completely different team from the one that lost two seasons ago to NAU, and this is a game the Wildcats should win handily so long as they take care of the business.

With that said, here is how you can watch and follow Arizona Football as they take on the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.

Arizona Game Preview:

Arizona begins their 2023 season with their semi-annual matchup against in-state rival, Northern Arizona.

Coming in, the Wildcats are the heavy favorites, and rightfully so as they return several key starters from a potent offense a season ago.

Jayden de Laura will be under center, and with the rest of the Wildcats on offense, this is a group that should be able to score a lot of points on Saturday.

On defense, the Wildcats will have a lot of fresh faces, but Coach Fisch and crew added a lot of talent either from the transfer portal or the recruiting trail, and this is a group that could surprise some people.

Hopefully, Arizona Football kick off their season with a dominant win over NAU and avenge their loss from two seasons ago!
