Continuing its strong push in the recruiting class of 2024, Arizona Football has received a commitment from three-star in-state athlete, Dylan Tapley.

Who doesn’t like getting a recruiting win like pulling a talented kid from your own backyard? Well, if you are Arizona Football, it is even better when that player was a former ASU commit.

Making news via social media after the Wildcats knocked off Colorado in Boulder, three-star athlete Dylan Tapley officially committed to the Cats.

Despite still being committed to the Sun Devils just days ago, Tapely re-opened his recruitment, and it only seemed like a matter of time before he would pick Arizona.

Fortunately for us, Dylan picked the Wildcats despite receiving offers from Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, and Arizona State, among others.

A talented two-way athlete, Dylan hails from Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, AZ, and coming in, he should bring a wealth of skill and athleticism to the Wildcats.

Standing a sturdy, 6-feet-4-inches and weighing 205 pounds, Dylan Tapley is a solid pick-up for Jedd Fisch and Arizona Football.

A standout at Desert Mountain High School, Dylan’s athleticism and size as an athlete jumps out at you, making him one of the more sought-after prospects in the talent-rich state of Arizona. And given his versatility on offense and defense, it is clear to see why the Wildcats were persistent in pursuing him.

Coming to Tucson, Tapley will have options once he arrives on campus; however, I would look for him to transition to offense at first. His speed and size should make him a natural fit at receiver!

Just by looking at his film, there is a lot to like, and he is an immediate playmaker when steps on the field!

Under the guidance of Coach Fisch, Arizona seems to be on an upward trajectory, and Akuila’s commitment adds another layer of talent and potential to a team that is eager to take that next step!
