Arizona Football moves up to 19 in latest AP Poll
Following its fourth-straight win on the season, Arizona Football has moved up in the latest Associated Press poll, checking in at No. 19.
Good teams find a way to win ugly, and after coming away with the gutsy and hard-fought win over Colorado in Boulder this past weekend, Arizona Football has moved up in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.
Following its come-from-behind win over Colorado on Saturday, the Wildcats made news on Sunday afternoon by climbing four spots in the Top 25 ranking.
Checking in at No. 19 this week, the Wildcats are getting more recognition for their stellar play over the past several weeks!
As it stands, the Wildcats are currently 7-3 (5-2) on the year and are sitting at their highest ranking for the first time since 2015.
Continuing its solid season, Arizona Football has a daunting challenge ahead as they take on another Top 25 opponent in No. 16 Utah.
Entering week 12 of the 2023 season, Arizona Football still remains just one of five ranked teams from the Pac-12, joining No. 5 Washington, No. 6 Oregon, No. 10 Oregon State, and No. 16 Utah.
The challenge to close out the season strong comes with a bit of lofty expectations as well. Should Arizona be able to run the table, they will have an outside chance at making the Pac-12 title game, IF, a few chips were to fall their way.
Their road to the postseason continues this week, as Arizona enters this weekend’s matchup as a pick ’em favorite against the Utes. And even with Utah’s injuries, this is a very formidable and tough-minded opponent that won’t be easy to beat by any means.
