Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan added to Biletnikoff Award Watch List
The 2023 Arizona Football season may winding down but finally Tetairoa McMillan is getting recognition after being added to Biletnikoff Award Watch List.
Well, better late than never, I guess! Despite dominating opposing secondaries in college football this season, Arizona Football wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan (aka TMac) has mostly had a quiet year in the media, except to those fortunate enough to watch him play.
Finally drawing some well-deserved recognition, McMillan was officially added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List as the news broke on Monday afternoon.
Presented annually to college football’s most outstanding receiver, it is about time people are realizing what a special talent TMac truly is.
In the midst of a huge sophomore season, Tetairoa McMillan is going up against college football’s best for the Biletnikoff Award.
A former standout at Servite High School in Southern California, TMac was considered one of the nation’s best wide receivers coming out of high school in the class of 2022, and his hype was well-deserved too.
In his freshman campaign, TMac caught 39 passes for 702 and eight touchdowns (a team high), as he appeared in all 12 games for the Wildcats.
In 2023, he’s even better! Through 10 games, TMac has amassed 860 yards with eight touchdowns on 61 receptions.
On the current watchlist, TMac joins some great receivers that include Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison, Jr., Florida State’s Keon Coleman, Washington’s Rome Odunze, LSU’s Malik Nabers, Oregon’s Troy Franklin in addition to current teammate Jacob Cowing among several others.
While the competition TMac faces is fierce, it is great seeing him finally getting the recognition he deserves. McMillan is not only one of the best receivers in the conference, he is also one of the best in the country, and it is about time people are taking notice!
Here’s just a little bit of what we’ve seen from him this season!
