Some of Arizona Wildcats Football game lines have been released by The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. To help pass the time until kick off, let’s see what you think about the early lines and my picks.
Wildcats Football is returning 11 starters from both sides of the ball. The Wildcats finished with a record of 10-4 overall and 7-2 in Pac-12 play last season. They are also the reigning Pac-12 South Champions. It’s interesting that Vegas has Arizona as the underdog in every game except UCLA and the Utah Pac-12 game odds they released.

UCLA at Arizona; Pick (even)
Lets start with the first game they list: UCLA vs Arizona. This game is a ‘pick it’ game. Last season at the rose bowl game Wildcats lost 17-7. Looking back it was a game that I believe was lost by the Wildcats more than it was won by UCLA. I like the fact that the game will be played in Tucson this season and on top of that it’s the opening Pac-12 season game. I’ll take the Wildcats for this one.
My Prediction: UCLA 24-Arizona 31

Arizona at Stanford (-7.5)

The Wildcats have not faced Stanford for two years. Stanford finished 8-5 and 5-4 in Pac-12 play. The last time we did play them, the game ended in a shoot-out with Stanford getting the last word winning 54-48. I’m surprised Stanford is favored by this much in this game given their struggles last season. It will be a tough road trip for the Wildcats but I’ll take Arizona at +7.5 in this one.
My Prediction: Arizona 28-Stanford 24

Arizona at USC (-7.5)
The Wildcats suffered through the ‘kick heard around Tucson’ against USC last season. This was another game that slipped away from the Wildcats; wide right this time. USC has another year under their belt this season with also a high-ranking freshman class. Even so, I’ll take our Wildcats at +7.5 on this one as well.
My Prediction: Arizona 24-USC 21
November 14, 2015
Utah at Arizona (-3)
The Wildcats largest margin of victory on the road last season was earned on their road trip to Utah. Given that this game is going to be played at home this season, I’m surprised they are predicting the Wildcats as only 3 points favorites. Utah, I’m sure, has improved for this upcoming season. I must say this is my lock pick and I’ll take the Wildcats at -3.
My Prediction: Utah 17-Arizona 35

Arizona at Arizona State (-3)
Lastly we end with the biggest game of the season which happens every November in the state of Arizona. The Territorial Cup is going to be played in Phoenix this year but lets not forget that the Cup is quietly resting in the Defending Champs home located a couple of hundreds miles south. I’m pretty sure we know who I’m taking in this one. I might not keep this job if I take the favorite here. Arizona at +3.
My Prediction: Arizona 42-Arizona St 35
Last week I listened to an intriguing debate on the 1290am radio sports broadcast with Kevin and Mike. The Debate revolved around the Vegas odds in which the 5Dimes Sportsbook released the over/under for total wins in the 2015 NCAA season. Arizona is pegged at 7 wins.
The consensus reached during the show was that it wasn’t a question of “if” Arizona would earn seven wins, it was “how does Arizona not earn seven wins?” I have to strongly agree.
The Wildcats finished with 10 wins last season and are returning a good amount of key players on both sides of the ball. Adding to that the fact that the Wildcats had lost two regular season games by a total of 12 points, I am taking the over on 7 wins this season.
