Arizona Wildcats Baseball senior Sawyer Gieseke is at it again with another viral sensation, reproducing the classic spring training scene from the 1989 classic “Major League,” in true ‘Gieseke’ form.
In the age of social media, its all about being viral and Arizona Wildcat Baseball senior Sawyer Gieseke knows how to make that happen. He is not a stranger to producing such classics as “Goo Goo Cats Slide” and “Arizona Baseball takes Hawaii.” What’s getting everyone’s attention right now is his latest classic, “Major League,” with 190K views and counting!

From beginning to end this video is absolutely hilarious!
Gieseke depicts the scene from the movie when the ball players are arriving at the stadium. All the actors in the video are Wildcat baseball players and coaches. Lou Brown is handled brilliantly by Wildcats baseball coach Jay Johnson, while freshman outfielder Matt Frazier (drafted in MLB in the 38th round) plays Willie Mays Hays and takes it to a whole new level!
In addition, other Wildcats that make up an excellent supporting staff were: Casey Bowman, Cameron Cannon (drafted in MLB in the 21st round), Cody Deason (New Director of Player Development Brandon Higelin drove the scooter), Ryan Haug, Landon Faulkner, Randy Labaut, and Mitchell Morimoto.
This video is quickly becoming an instant classic! Everywhere from TMZ, to NCAA.com, ESPN and the MLB Network – this remake is getting national attention.
The originality of this and other Gieseke videos is what makes them stand out. He has his own sense of style that makes them so fun to watch! They are certainly a reflection of his personality on and off the field.
