5. Rebounds

In the Wildcat’s four losses this season, a key factor has been rebounding. When they have been out-rebounded, on both the defensive and offensive end, it has prevented any sort momentum for the Cats. Also, it has given their opponents the edge in 2nd points.

Everyone, including the Wildcats big men inside, will need to establish their presence on the glass. It’s all about fundamentals: blocking out the opponent and not letting that opponent out hustle to the ball. A good example of this would be Lauri Markkanen, who leads the team with 241 total rebounds.
