Momentum keeps building for the Arizona Football team, as the Wildcats add their 16th commitment of the 2018 recruiting class.

Commitments keep coming for the Arizona Football team, as the program seems to be on a roll as of late. Disregard the current winning streak, the Wildcats are apparently winning off the field too.

Already nearing the month of November, and recruiting is alive and well for the Wildcats, as they pick-up their fifth commitment in just the past two weeks. On Thursday, Georgia athlete Zach Williams, became the 16th commitment in the class of 2018!

Williams stands an impressive 6-feet-3-inches and 205 pounds, with room to grow! On paper, he looks like a nice snag for Arizona so far.

Hailing from SEC country, Williams has quite a few offers, despite playing at a smaller school, in the talent-rich state of Georgia.

Currently in his senior season at John’s Creek High School, Williams has 38 receptions for 773 yards and four touchdowns, despite the team being 2-6, according to Maxpreps.

Williams has plenty of upside, and it’s clear by his offer sheet, that other teams see that as well! As we had said earlier, Zach made his decision earlier today, coming via social media, ultimately picking the Wildcats over offers from; Cincinnati, Army, Navy, Pitt, UNLV, Cornell and Dartmouth among others.

Zach was converted to tight end/ receiver not too long ago, and it is a move that seems to have paid off well for him!

With the growing use of tight ends in the Wildcats’ offense, it will be interesting to see how head coach Rich Rodriguez plans to utilize Williams in the future!

It is worth noting, that Arizona’s tight ends have accounted for 230 of the teams’ 1,199 passing yards, and three of the nine Wildcats’ passing touchdowns!

Just by looking at his film, Williams moves extremely well, and is rather quick for someone his size. While it’s likely he may not be a receiver at the next level, he will likely be groomed and trained to be a tight end. His athleticism will come in handy!

He also seems to have good hands, is very fluid in running his routes, and has good spatial awareness, knowing where he’s at on the field, being in position to make a play.
