Arizona Football (6-3, 4-2) will continue Pac-12 action in their last home game versus the Oregon State Beavers (1-8, 0-6) on Saturday.
Nearing the end of the 2017 Arizona Football season, the Wildcats will have a favorable match-up with Oregon State coming to town this weekend.
Last week was a tough one for Arizona. The Wildcats battled, but ultimately didn’t have enough against the talented USC Trojans in Los Angeles, CA.

Regardless, Arizona is still in a great position moving forward to finish the season strong, but the Wildcats will still need to focus down the stretch.
At 6-3 (4-2), the Cats will be favored against the one-win Beavers in Tucson. However, make no mistake, despite the turmoil in Corvallis, Oregon State still competes. Also, being that the team is winless in the conference so far, this could be another opportunity for them to get the upset.
Since Interim Head coach Cory Hall took over, the Beavers seem to a bit more competitive than they have been all year. Plus, I’m sure they feel pretty good after dismantling the Wildcats in Corvallis last season.
Know Thy Foe:
Team: Oregon State Beavers (1-8, 0-6); lost last week 37-23 versus Cal
Conference: Pac-12
2016 Record: 4-8 (3-6); Beat rival Oregon 34-32 in the ‘Civil War’ last season.
Last Meeting vs Arizona: Oregon State won last year in Corvallis, 42-17.
Head Coach: Cory Hall is 0-2 overall as the interim head coach. Hall took over for Gary Anderson, who resigned just a few weeks ago.
Key Returners/ Starters: QB Darrell Garretson, RB’s Ryan Nall, Art Pierce, and Thomas Tyner (who have been a big part of the Beavers’ production this year), TE Noah Togiai, and WR’s Jordan Villamin, Isaiah Hodgins, and Timmy Hernandez.
Defensively, the Beavers have struggled mightily, but they still have a few solid pieces. Watch out for LB’s Manase Hungalu, Jonathan Willis, and Bright Ugwoegbu, along with DB’s David Morris, Jalen Moore and Shawn Wilson.
Key Injuries: RB Trevorris Johnson and DB Xavier Crawford are their biggest injuries
Game Information:
When: Saturday, November 11th, 2017
Time: 8:15 PM MST
Where: Arizona Stadium (Tucson, AZ)
Spread: -21 Arizona
Overall Series Record: 22-15-1 Arizona. The Wildcats have a decent lead over the Beavers in the head-to-head match-up. However, Arizona has won just one out of the last five meetings between the two schools.
Our Prediction: Arizona 48 Oregon State 27. Look for Arizona to move the ball well. It’s Senior Night, and we expect the Cats to be ready to go in this one. However, we can’t completely over look the Beavers, they should have beat Stanford a couple weeks ago, and they’ve got nothing to lose. If Arizona takes care of its business, and do what they do best in moving the football, they should be fine in this one!
Listen to the team as they talk about last weeks performance, and the upcoming match-up versus OSU
